I am such a dweeb

halo (1)Howdy how is everyone today? dajia hao, (cant put pinyon marks dont know how). guess what stupid thing I am doing, I am low carbing again but this time I am doing it just above ketosis, been doing it over three weeks. I am hoping I can stick to it, do notice one thing about it since I am keeping carbs at 200 grams per day it has forced me to make my carbs count, hence a little fruit, whole grain, rationing sweet stuff like jam and not using any syrup or honey at all, pop is out, (drink very little anymore) last time i did low carb it was like 100 grams a day andthat was too low. and I got tired of bacon meat and such.

wo xiang yidianr insane, (think I am a bit insane) I mean it is not like I did not try this before. so any suggestions on making this work I ususally last about 6 weeks.  before I end up giving it up, what kinds of carbs besides veggies are the best to eat? what can I do to salvage my diet when I am craving carbs or am feeling a bit peckish or feeling run down?

I have noticed I am sleeping better (but still a bit tired during the day) 200 grams per day seems to be a comfortable level i am not like hungry or feeling like binging on carbs except today, but even then I kept the carbs quality that I did eat.

what has worked for you guys and has been sustainble and not painful or too painful. thanks. xiexie.  Oh by the way I took the lighthouse with halo picture with my phone and was bit far from it too. came out nice for such a cheap phone.

ah what is over there, hark, it is my imagination running wild again invisioning me living by this lighthouse where I plant a giant red wood 100 feet from it and watch it grow to full maturity and die in God’s new world where death and sin and wickedness and property taxes and man made oppression will be gone. actually your laughing at me arnt you?

northcarolinavacation2016-230

sunrise over the atlantic ocean, very pretty,

img_20161024_074047635_hdr

img_0141

remember this plant from past posts? this was behind the falcon motel which is now in disrepair and being sold (the fence is damage by thepool and the pool was full of debris and stuff) now look at it after hurricane matthew

plants at peak aug 2014

gardenatpeakaug2014 001

crape myrtle starting to bloom, late this year usually blooms july. but everything got a late start.

gardenatpeakaug2014 010

scarlet bean runner with pods growing up the crape myrtle whose most of the tops died except the bottom where it is regrowing, yea it did not die, yippee.

gardenatpeakaug2014 014

red crape starting to bloom, grew a bit bigger finally, hum does it need to be shocked into growing more during summer by being hit with a severe cold winter? makes one wonder.

gardenatpeakaug2014 017

my giant caladium (elephant ears) started off small then got big, very nice.

gardenatpeakaug2014 027

sweet joe pye weed did not get big, the ones in the fields growing wild didn’t either. must of been the severe cold or something from last winter. pretty nonetheless

gardenatpeakaug2014 037

gardenatpeakaug2014 042

goldflame honeysuckle, I had to do some serious pruning for all the dead branches it had but it was a hidden blessing because now they are cleaned up of their cluttered branches look and are more uniform and their flowering has been enhanced quite a bit. very pretty.

gardenatpeakaug2014 038

early summer a chickadee mom and dad raised a brood out of here, I would watch them bring them food, but the little guys were to far down in to stick their heads out, then when they were done a house wren took it and raised babies too. see the nest inside?

gardenatpeakaug2014 046

a passion for flowers much? the passionflowers are starting to bloom, also late usually in july they bloom but we all know why don’t we.

gardenatpeakaug2014 058

painted mountain corn, very pretty had to fence it the ground hogs thought I grew this for them,

gardenatpeakaug2014 064

variegated climbing hydrangea, the canes are said to get fifty feet but it will be a couple of years before I see flowers but if I see some climbing the leaves will satisfy me enough until the flowers are ready.

gardenatpeakaug2014 073

touch me nots, never in my life have I seen them so tall, they are taller then me and so thick like this, wow, my whole fence on this side is like that and the plant bed near the dish is like this too, wow, must of been all that rain. (jewelweed)

gardenatpeakaug2014 077

gardenatpeakaug2014 089

gardenatpeakaug2014 101

rosa rugosa rose hips

gardenatpeakaug2014 086

black eyed susans seeds must of clustered at the bottom of my side yard because look what happened? they all clusted and bloom together, while the area around them has nothing, very pretty, did not have the heart to mow them.

gardenatpeakaug2014 110

rosa rugosa topaz jewel, is yellow but look what happens when you photograph it with the sun shining brightly at your back into the flower, like a beacon or something, (mirror rose)

gardenatpeakaug2014 084

and now the golden rods blooming, on the hill next to all my black eyes susans painted daisy? and other flowrs that finally spread, I guess mowing it during the summer was a bad idea so this year I did not mow it,

gardenatpeakaug2014 081

my side hills (dry conditions here) full of blk eyed, painted daisy? golden rods yarrow, ironweed,

so what do you think these are not all my plants but awwww the wonderful springs (usually wonderful) summers and wonderful fall time of year where you have plants galore sunshine warmth energy until winter spoils the party.

awww outer banks vacation gone bust

northcarolinaouterbanksvacationbust 080

unfortnantly we cut our vacation short, I was just so bored, my hubby couldn’t get to any fishing spots, even the private piers were closed due to federal consessions, whatever that means,  we had no access to refuges, swimming holes, beach access was by some parking on side of road or private access which we had permission to use, we couldn’t do anything we had planned and on top of that my monthly decided to pay a visit, could’t of been a worst time for it. no hiking swimming or fishing or bird watching I was only able to get a few pictures, I spent most of the time sitting around the hotel room trying to figure out where to go and what to do. so we just left.

big bummer, frankly I don’t know what the people in governments’ problem is, they simply do not understand who really owns nature.  taxpayers paid for the access roads yet they forget it is not their money. but I guess that is the nature of power, you lose touch with reality and live in a world of delusions. I do have a few pictures to show.
