unfortnantly we cut our vacation short, I was just so bored, my hubby couldn’t get to any fishing spots, even the private piers were closed due to federal consessions, whatever that means, we had no access to refuges, swimming holes, beach access was by some parking on side of road or private access which we had permission to use, we couldn’t do anything we had planned and on top of that my monthly decided to pay a visit, could’t of been a worst time for it. no hiking swimming or fishing or bird watching I was only able to get a few pictures, I spent most of the time sitting around the hotel room trying to figure out where to go and what to do. so we just left.
big bummer, frankly I don’t know what the people in governments’ problem is, they simply do not understand who really owns nature. taxpayers paid for the access roads yet they forget it is not their money. but I guess that is the nature of power, you lose touch with reality and live in a world of delusions. I do have a few pictures to show.
couldnt go no furthur then this to see the lighthouse, to bad the ranger there was really nice, you could talk to him and all, he seemed disgusted with the whole affair too.
still was able to walk the buxton woods, tho the trail is not well defined and not marked, anyone have any ideas of what kind of bush this is?
