I am just an average folk trying to understand the world and survive it’s many hurricreeps, earthquacks, whirl spin and quick nit wits. lol. my interests are people, animals, especially horses, birds, I like hiking, running on my treadmill (to fat to run on the ground)I read the bible almost daily, do research on various topics like obesity, nutrtion, world events, what is going on that sorta thing. I also enjoy hearing other peoples ideas on how they view the world too.Β  anyway if you post keep it cordial and no cursing keep it clean and hold those punches. tact gets you alot furthur in life then punching people in the face.

  1. Hi! Thanks for inviting me to your blog, I’ve enjoyed reading the posts. I tried to find your posts on nutrition and weight loss but couldn’t. Doesn’t matter. I had a lovely time here. Nice to find folks of a like mind. Except for the cursing, of course. Growing up with 6 older brothers…it’s an unfortunately easy habit to pick up. πŸ™‚

  2. Hi Roberta.

    Nice to meet you.

  3. I’m equally honored. You’re a modest cognoscenti πŸ™‚ I was a fitness instructor, but I’m pretty sure you know everything there is to know, with funny and memorable experiences to that end. I look forward to be, what I’m sure of, learning a lot from you! By the way, a personal favorite of mine to live by is Matthew 10:16 (I tend to be on the naive and gullible side.)

  4. Nice reading about you.

  8. Dear Roberta, your cases of tooth decay without brushing are exceptions to the rule and it is a genetically inherited weakness to tooth rot. My son never brushed his teeth and he has only had one cavity in his life so far at age 20. I bet you can find many more people without cavities or tooth rot than you can with it. Soft food does not cause cavities in most people because it does not irritate the gums or teeth and you don’t need dental floss either. I haven’t brushed my teeth in 5 years and am 67 with no cavities or gingivitis. We need more people not to brush their teeth to determine what percentage of the population would actually suffer from tooth rot. I bet it is a very rare occurrence and a few exceptions don’t make for good rules for most of us.

  15. Thank you, Roberta for “liking” my brief post, “Pause.” Sometimes I forget to just pause and be grateful for all of the good in my world. As well, thanks for reminding us that we can get a lot further in this crazy world, by using tact, kindness, and compassion toward others. Hope that I always live up to your sound advice.
    Best,
    Lynne

  16. Thank you so very much for identifying my unknown rose! Funny thing is, I really need to go to the dentist and the rose is named after a dentist…guess that is a sign?

  17. I see you stopped by my garden and “liked” the water lily. I always like to have visitors in the garden; come back any time!

  18. Thanks for liking my post about roses. Here’s my early spring post on pruning. http://wp.me/p33MZE-2O How does it coincide with pruning rugusa roses? I noticed you have several in your garden.
