thought I would throw a picture of the passion flower we have, humm, I was thinking they are native to ohio come to find out they are not, they always come back every year from the root and flower beautifully. we save the seeds too.

When my red crape flowers I will post some pictures, these are red red. does anyone know if you save the seeds of the crapes if they grow true to type?

thanks.

walkaboutwithdogs 079

my fig tree got really big those red flowers is robin hood rose, I transplanted it there this year and it took a long time to get going so it is small it got quite a bit of die back where it was before which was a northern exposure with little shelter. here I hope it will do better.

my feet hurt and my legs ache after this walk, (plus did yard work too for a while picked up logs and did some weed wacking, love to see those weeds get wacked,) because I wore my brand new filas for the first time the traffic was horrendous, the mosquitos were really bad in spotsincluding when I was cleaning and mowing the hill, yikes! so I itch as well.even with a head net they attacked by arms and back, very hard to do work when your being attacked  my mimi monsters.lol by the way do you like my filas? these don’t look like gorilla feet, lol.

first sea holly we gained through seeds, very difficult I might add,

trumpetlillyseaholly 004

same sea holly another angle

trumpetlillyseaholly 008

same sea holly a bumble bee landed as I was taking pictures,

trumpetlillyseaholly 010

a different sea holly in the same bed, bought these two at a garden center, saved me time, frustration in getting more seeds going, they do not bloom until the following year after the frost hits the leaves, some of them you have to put the seeds in pots and put in the refrigerator for a month, which I did so now I have 3 new plants that will bloom next year, yippe I aaaaaaaa!

trumpetlillyseaholly 012

my red lilly hubby bought about a month ago while in bud, didn’t have any clue as to the color until I seen this, wow, really red this picture doesn’t do the reddness justice, it is really red!

my trumpet flowers, this vine takes a long time to mature (four years) before it produces flowrs this plant is about 7 years old started it from a little baby and it grew to be a beautiful mature plant, and it has caused me to find many baby ones in my yard which I will transplant somewhere in the fall, awesome. the other flowers are on a fairly dry hill that even most saplings can’t grow but these flowers seem to like it and od well, now if I could get myhubby to stop pushing me to mow that hill these guys could maybe spread faster (he doesn’t like the tall grass that grows there and turns a beautiful golden brown from when we had horses, I think it is timothy grass) the birds eat the seeds, I watch them do it lol. so cute really now that I have a tripod I am going to attempt to video the birds on the feeder through the window they can see me I hope the camara won’t bother them, and then if that works do the birdbath outside, will have to stay near my camara cause it will be outside and I want to keep eye on it, but will try to stay hidden if I can, they aer so pretty when they play in the water. hope you enjoy these pictures,

more roses and questions

rosesinfullbloom 004

rosesinfullbloom 021

take a look at the fence panels, this rose you can tell by the extended canes (just grew this past month) it wants to climb, so rather than have to take all the canes out of the panels, (they would probably break if I did) what kind of apparatus can I use to let them climbe? i was thinking of a metal arch that would go on the sides of the panels and extend way up like a rainbow and over to the other side, but what would I use to give it climbing help? what if I use fishing line? now a arbor that has a side and extended top to the other end would work except it is expensive, any suggestions? I can’t take them out of the panels as they willprobably break off alot of the ends of the canes and I like the fence, is there any ideas of what I can make or buy that would work? thanks.all your gardeners and carpenters and such put your thinking caps on andhelp me help this rose.

rosesinfullbloom 053

any suggestions to make this better? changes, add take away? the plants on the edges are hortutunia, I love these, should I add a fence change the hanging plants moving them? the big bush at the top is a crepe myrtel, the plant in the middle is a golden honeysuckle, the little bushy one is a crepe myrtle, the catci is pear, the little scrubby plant on the left is a rose I transplanted here,

rosesinfullbloom 051

now what adjustments can go here? does anyone know why this rugosa (which looks like a tree rose) on the left there has bare stems? the one in the back is more leafed on it’s canes, the trellis is temporary for the morning glories but right in front of that a topaz jewel is going there, (yellow rugosa) should I lose the fence or change it, shall I move the hanging plants and put something else there like a statue or maybe a water feature? I seen those beautiful lilies at the naturleum and seen those lilies at the garden centere and I am thinking humm might just make a minature pond (maybe using a cereamic pot with no holes in it and fill with muck, water and plants? what say you? should I put plants or some hardscape behind the plants next ot the hallway/garage section? give me some ideas that won’t break the bank or evensometihng I can build ormake myself? is there something I can do with adding tall plants or hard scape to the varigated grass and snow on the mountain plants? maybe put a hanging planter there that is shorter thna the ones I have?  what can I do to make the window look bettr or hide parts of it? would a five foot lighthouse on a petastl which will be hidden by the plants work behind the plants in the corner of the garage/hallway work? thanks in advance

my new dawn looks really good despite getting the crap beat out of it by the heavy rains we got. when it is cool out they are more pink when it gets really hot they go white.

naturealumandothersjune 176

look almost like old garden roses that the flowers hang over, it was the stupid rain that beat them into submission.

naturealumandothersjune 177

my blaze starting to bloom, yippy, looks like the rain didnt beat them up.

my pink buttons rose (actually fairy rose) hasnt bloomed yet tho it has tons of buds on them.

hope you enjoy these like I am enjoying them,

when my new dawn and explorer climber john davis, well I think that is what they sent me, bloom I will post pictures, they are just so full of buds right now I can’t wait, my blaze is full of buds too so  I will post it as well once they are in full bloom, which I cannot wait. oh yea my landscaping is coming along really well, you know it is just like a switch was pulled and I cannot seem to stop coming up with ideas and carrying them out, I keep saying this will be enough now I just have to maintain it and mow regularly then I think of something else I can do to spruce up the yard even better or something else I would like to grow in the garden or something, never happend like this to me before, also I keep saying today I will rest because I am so sore, but then I end up doing something then it leads to something else, not big mind you just little things that add up,, can one become obessessed? or am I just making up for lost time? it is like I can’t stop, help! lol, but when I look at my yard it is just so worth it, I did it myself, I actually accomplised something and seen through to the end (kept my attention and interest long enough to see it completed)if you knew me you would know my motivations and goals are not sustainable, I end up not doing it all the way or not starting it.  sometimes I wonder if I have or had adhd or something. or manic depression with emphasis on the depressed side of the coin more than the other. well I hope you enjoy the photos, now get out there and take pictures of pretty things will you and share them I am dying to see what others are doing in their yard, what they seen on the trails that sorta thing.

more walk about/peach tree talk

my poor peach tree has the bad case of leaf curl, I might have to chop it down as I read about the treatments and it si too extensive and iffy to waste time or money, I read that red haven is one that is resistant so I will be getting a couple in the late summer early fall.  this really sucks after seeing such pretty flowers. I think it’s roots may hve hit a water pocket underground and is just to wet, makes sense it is a bit wetter on that side then the south side of my house. did get a couple of apple trees tho planted them last week. a yellow delicious and a gala. yummy. maybe i will post some pictures of them.

anyway here are some more pictures I took yesterday, anyone know what kind of bush this is? the flowers are softly sweet and it gets red berries on it and I love it, let me guess it is not native isnt it?

Howdy my friends, neighbors and all concerned people

I just finished reading some interesting stuff on agenda 21, or shall I say sustainable development, out of the united nations is where it orginated. Many call it smart growth, visioning or whaterver you want to refer to it. here is one thing I found a bit unerving, but understandable, and that is while yes we have a series problem in the world, enviromental issues, poverty, wars and the like,  anyone can focus on these problems, and offer their idea of a solution,  many have offered their ideas of a solution from philosphy of non violence or initiation of force against another, to free interchange of trade, to use or resources to build wealth that eventually trickles down to others, directly or indirectly, to sustainable development, to charity involvement, to government involvement is creating a fairer world, I have to ask this question?

How can anyone create a fair world without being unfair? all governments have one common theme, use of violence or force to achieve seemingly noble ends. Everything to enforcement of policy, use of currency controls and job creation or destruction to every kind of coercive control to achieve what seems like a good end. agenda 21 is an example, it is being implemented very aggressivly with the idea of ending poverty, enviromental degradgation, and to secure food and security for all now and in the future. This is right out of the united nations, which the bible prophesied would arise from the seventh world power (anglo-american empire) and exercise its role like an eighth king. False religion rides this eight king controlling its actions.

what methods of force are being used here? enviormental laws that are draconian and not based on science, excessive taxation, global free trade to reduce the standard of living in the usa, land seizure based in frivolous grounds, and abuse of many laws on the books with one idea in mind, force you off the land into the cities. This is happening all over the world in fact.  their vision is forced on people against their will in many cases. thier desire is to do exactly what Satan wanted done and has done in times past.  if you ever read some of the comments of the people behind this you notice they have nothing but contempt for people, they consider the common man a plague, a parasite, greedy no good so and so. does this remind anyone of anything? the religious leaders of jesus day? who called the common people people of the land (which is a derogatory title).

All this strikes as an attempt to destory people’s happiness not enhance it. look at the two pictures above, these are from my calender, these pictures filled me with joy, it thrills me to think I will be doing so many of the things I have always wanted but couldn’t due to the condition of the world limitations in where I can live and play due to financial and health considerations. But the agenda 21 ers are not concerned with our happiness, otherwise why would they be so bent on outlawing all the things that bring man pleasure, happiness and self sufficieny? why is man being hemmed in by more and more laws and regulations preventing people from spreading their wings and flying freely? If these people get what they want, this is how we will live (ever seen the video about an african neighborhood? i did it was horrid they are truly hemmed in by fencing, they had no toilets, a sewage trench down the middle of the road, muddy floors and hungry children, armed guards and extreme poverty which they aer not allowed to try and alleviate by using their own resources there).

this is what these people have in mind,

highdensityhousingexample5

mind you this is for everyone whether they want to live here or not. now which do you prefer the first two pictures above which is what Jehovah wants for people, or what the agenda 21 ers want? all land outside of this will be restricted heavily (probably will have to earn credits to get a permit to visit the forests for camping or hiking or swimming). all jobs will be assigned and food will be grown within 100 miles which translates there will be food rationing. there is more but this is horrible enough. if all I had to face was this future, I would rather not be here, But thanks to Jehovah he has other things in mind for mankind and living in a slave labor camp or concentration camp (notice the word concentration) working long hours for little reward is not what it is. this is really human resource farming, think factory farming of animals.

ps, by the way that top picture of people playing with all the wonderful crittors most of these creepy enviromentalists, creepy elites and collective mind set people would cringe. they hate to see people happy and enjoy their own enviroment. they feel we should not be allowed to touch nature hardly at all let alone enjoy it without their permission.
